Earth Day Activities and History

Earth Day is a day intended to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth's natural environment. Earth Day was established by a United States Senator Gaylord Nelson as an environmental teach-in was first held on April 22, 1970. While this first Earth Day focused on the United States, an organization launched by Denis Hayes, who is national coordinator of the original in 1970, international pick in 1990 and events held in 141 countries.

Many people do to remember the day the earth. There are after him with riding a bike and keep their vehicles at home, some are killed power in the vicinity of his home, some are up to pick up litter around the streets.
