NATO Operations in Libya

NATO Operations in Libya, Canadian Defence Minister Peter McKay appoint a three-star generals, Charles Bouchard, to lead the NATO military operations in Libya. Bouchard previously served as Deputy Commander of North American Aerospace Defence Command (NORAD).

NATO Operations in Libya, Bouchard did not light duty. The former military helicopter pilot in Queebec, Canada, that will lead all air and sea military operations against Libya NATO. The operation is scheduled to begin tomorrow.

All NATO operations in Libya would be controlled from the NATO Military Command Center in Naples, Italy. During the operation, Bouchard will join hands with Admiral Samuel Locklear from the United States. Locklear is responsible for all NATO operations in the Mediterranean.

NATO's main task is to oversee the strict no-fly zone for Libya. They also charged the task of enforcing an arms embargo against the regime of Moammar Gaddafi. In short all the operations are designed for protecting civilians Libya.

NATO has appointed a three-star general of Canada, Lieutenant-General Charles Bouchard, to lead the NATO operations in Libya.

In addition, the general is also responsible for implementing no-fly zones and arms embargo mandated by the UN, according to an alliance official said on Friday 25 March 2011.

Bouchard will also take command of all military attacks to protect civilians from soldiers loyal to Moamar Gaddafi, when and if the alliance has 28 members that took the leadership of the entire attack on Libya from the US-led coalition.
