U.S. Military Ready to Face the North Korean Aggression , Washington - President Barack Obama gives directives to the United States military to coordinate with South Korean military. This is to ensure preparedness to prevent North Korean aggression.

U.S. Military Ready to Face the North Korean Aggression , The White House said the U.S. strongly supported the plan of South Korean President Lee Myung-bak to punish North Korea over the sinking of a naval ship.

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said, the White House urged North Korea to apologize and change his behavior. "We support President Lee demanded immediate apology from North Korea and punish those responsible for the attack, and most importantly stop behaving aggressively and threatening," said Gibbs.

Gibbs added that American support for the defense of South Korea is firm. "The president has directed military commanders to coordinate closely with the partners of the Republic of Korea for preparedness to prevent future aggression," he said. "Obama and Lee agreed to meet at the G20 summit in Canada next month."

Last weekend, an international team of researchers accused the North Korean torpedo, killed 46 South Korean sailors. This incident is one of the deadly clashes between the two countries since the 1950-1953 Korean War.

The United States has about 28,000 troops in South Korea to provide military support.
